I wanted to  photograph  this experience that my friend Beth Gerding has been through.

This is the story of surviving Stage four Colon Cancer. There are many people have been diagnosed with Colon cancer. Some have passed away, and some have survived. Those who survived were given a second chance at life. The survival rate of Stage Four is about 14%.

I wanted to present Beth`s story of suffering, pain,  and the joy she feels now. Her strong belief in God was the source of her strength. Many people who are going through a similar experience may love to hear her voice telling her story, it sends message of hope. 

I utilized the photographs through my lens and added Beth`s voice to  narrate the story.
